We are both university academics, John and Mara, with a passion for wildlife and the environment. After living in the suburbs of Melbourne for many years, our work commitments became more flexible. We then decided to move fifty kilometres north of Melbourne to a 20-acre property in St Andrews to look after that piece out of land and everything depending on it with all our strength and capabilities. We see this as being our legacy for future generations.
